A few people have asked me how I manage to juggle parenthood, a full-time job as an asshole lawyer, a long commute, household chores, CrossFit, messing around with photography/design, writing for
SICFIT, maintaining a handful of different blogs, helping M with back-of-the-house duties on
Nom Nom Paleo, and staying relatively sane.
The (unfortunate) answer? I ignore my kids. I didn't even realize the extent to which I've become an absentee parent until
my kindergartner decided to make this the subject of an illustrated story -- which has now been posted on his classroom wall just in time for Open House night at his school.
Time to take it down a notch.
