Round 3 / Day 16: Insanity Pure Cardio
Insanity Pure Cardio was a great change of pace today. But I have to confess that I skipped the Level 2 Drills and Push-Up Jacks -- my arms were just too damned sore. As expected, I woke up feeling like I was hit by a truck; yesterday's 30-15 workout truly massacred my upper body. On the plus side, with the start of Daylight Savings time, I knew the kids would probably end up sleeping in -- and because I woke up bright and early, I had some extra time to exercise before I had to get breakfast on the table. I'm usually rushing to get the kids dressed and fed immediately after my workout, which means I usually greet my boys in the morning by sweating on them.

Round 2 / Day 16: Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Plyometric Cardio Circuit was intense this morning -- M and I both tried to get through all the exercises, but had to take unplanned rest breaks intermittently. For me, Ski Abs and In/Out Abs are the toughest moves to get through, especially given that they're at the very end of the workout. But when we finished, we both felt like we accomplished something today. Not bad, considering it wasn't even 7 a.m. yet.

P90X Day 16: Plyometrics
For a guy with a bad knee and overpronation problems, I should know better than to walk around the neighborhood for an hour, lugging a small, wriggling child and sporting poorly-structured/supported shoes. But because I'm a moron, that's exactly what I did yesterday afternoon.
And this morning, I got up bright and early to jump around my garage for an hour. Super-smart. My knee's already aching. Thanks, Plyo.
