Monday's Workout

Two more new faces at the 5 a.m. class this morning -- we're growing like mold!

Strength Skill:
  • Snatch Balance (3 sets of 3, 2 sets of 1)
Note to self: GET UNDER THE BAR. Tim's repeatedly said that the barbell should -- ideally -- not move upwards, and I know exactly what he means. But despite my best efforts, I can't seem to stop jerking the barbell up instead of pushing myself down. Maybe I just need to turn off my brain and stop overthinking this.


3 rounds for time:

Nothing too weird today. The kettlebell transfers were straightforward enough, and so were the Games push-ups (though we hadn't done 'em since the flower shop days). And although I don't like rowing (to put it mildly), we only had to hop on the erg once.

Nonetheless: Rowing + kettlebell swings = Hamstring misery.
