Monday's Workout

I'm still sore from slogging through Whitten on Friday, but it still felt good to get back in the gym this morning. After all the holiday festivities (plus our three-year-old's birthday party) this weekend, I needed to work off the rust.

Strength Skill:
  • Jerks (2 sets of 3, 3 sets of 1)
I'm jerking above my bodyweight, but it sure ain't pretty.


Today, we did the December 8 main site WOD:

3 rounds for time:
  • Run 400 meters
  • 15 pull-ups
  • 50 squats
  • 15 pull-ups
Looks easy enough. I'm a fan of bodyweight-oriented WODs. And frankly, in the aftermath of Friday's metcon, this wasn't bad at all.

Result: 13:41.
